Will Mumbai be under rising sea water by 2050 ?
Sea water is rising by 4.0 mm per year . Global warming is happening with temperature rising by 1/5th of Degree Centigrade per year. This has resulted in to melting of glaciers which lead to rise of sea water. Many Big cities and Islands throughout the world which are almost at sea level are under threat of getting submerged under rising sea water by year 2100 . 10% of world population lives on coastal line and many cities are under direct threat of drowning.
Many Islands-countries will vanish from map by 2100
A full country will vanish from map due to rising sea water very soon. Kiribati a country near Hawaii located near south America will go under water by 2030 due to rising sea , displacing the population of 130,000 . Govt of Kiribati are buying land in adjoining countries to shift their population to a new country . This is just a start .

By 2030 Global temperature will rise by 1.5 Degree Centigrade. Sea water will rise by 6’’ which will flood more than 10 prominent cities in the world include Bangkok , Venice.
By 2050 global temperature will rise by 2.5 Degree Centigrade. Sea water will rise by 12” above today water level . About 25 cities will submerged due to rising sea level . Big cities like Mumbai will be partly go under sea level . Globally 10% of Population will need relocation by 2050.

Mumbai is sinking along coastal line
There are frequent floods in coastal city of Mumbai due to rise of tidal waves disrupting badly the daily life . 80% of South Mumbai will be under water by 2050 . Marine drive , Bombay Chopati will be eaten up by the sea . 1,000 buildings have to be abandoned along with miles of roads will be gone under water .
Jakarta will be shifted and rebuild 100 KM away from sea
Rising sea water has threatened many prominent cities. Indonesian capita Jakarta is sinking 6” per year . The city of 10 Million population is being re-located 100Km away to a new city. Similarly population Kiribati a small island country near Hawaii is being shifted to nearby country. Despite scientist’s warning we people have ignored the threat of Global warming and climate change , and now we are paying the price. If we want to avoid similar situation for future generation , we have to reduce emission of CO2 , which is practically impossible in developing countries . China , USA & India release maximum CO2 in the atmosphere responsible for climate change . No one can stop rising of sea water but can slow it down.
