Fake Marriage – Unholy alliance for ‘’’Green Card’’

Let we understand the following ‘’Green Card’’ theorem.

Mr X is happily married to Mrs Y in a country . Mr X wanted to settle in USA but do not have basic eligibility to go to USA on his own. With the help of some acquaint he find an agent who can help him to search for a Bride in USA who can marry and sponsor and bring him to USA to live and help him to obtain a Green Card.

But he does not disclose to his agent in USA that he is already married, but told him that he is already divorced. Ultimately the agent find a girl Ms Z who is ready to marry Mr X on paper ( only for money)  $80,000 plus Agent fee . The deal is done , Mr X produced fake divorced papers from his home country,  travelled to USA on Ms Z invitation , got married in the court and submit the application for temporary Green Card . To get a Green Card and show that the marriage is genuine , he do rent a house , opened a joint account with Ms Z and follow other tough formality to satisfy the marriage board with the help of the agent. He gets a Green card and his purpose is served.

During all this process Mr X did not disclose to his real first wife Mrs Y that his attempt to get a Green Card is based on Fake marriage for which he is bound to stay together with Ms Z   officially for 3 year ( but not in reality ) . Time pass by , his first wife Mrs Y waited for 4-5 years that his husband will also take her to USA as per the promise given to her.  Later on she came to know that he is married on record with another woman in USA. When it was confirmed , Mrs Y put a complaint against her husband of a marriage fraud in Police station back home. To avoid police arrest and court cases , Mr X never returned to his home country and hence deserted his wife.

There are many men who are already married in the foreign countries without letting their parents know, do one more marriages during vacation in their home country ( holiday marriage ) to please their parents under cultural pressure , do not take the Bride along with them and  abandon them slowly . There are 30K married girls in Indian Punjab alone who were cheated and abandoned by their NRI husband.

The craze of getting a Green Card or permanent citizenship in Western countries has made people of doing lot of sin against humanity. Married men are falsely declaring themselves as bachelors, doing illegal divorce, entering in to fake marriages , abandoning their first wives, marring multiple time without the knowledge of their spouse.  

In case of getting PR in Canada,  young men who could not clear IELTS exams are forcing their parent to sell their property or take loan and look for a IELTS qualified girl to get marry and sponsor the full cost of the marriage . Once the IELTS qualified girl reach Canada , she is bound to bring her husband to Canada and boy automatically get PR status. But now there have been reports that married girls after reaching Canada are refusing to sponsor their husbands and abandoning them. This racket of exchange of Finance VS Marriage have destroyed so many families in India.

Similarly in Europe students who overstay with study Visa expired, to avoid not to captured and get repatriate to their home country , they do a fake marriage with local Citizen girls. This type of fraud marriage is being done for max. period of 3 years by fooling the emigration system at the cost of the Man paying $70K to the girl, which qualify him to stay back and slowly get a local citizen ship.

There are thousands of such real stories wherein men are doing fake marriages just to get a Green Card or Citizenship to settle overseas by hook and crook. They end of doing sin of abandoning their first wives along with her children. The greed of getting Green Card has destroyed so many innocent families.
