In a Rural life pets are kept in abundance. Most of the village house do have either cat , dog , rabbit , goat , ducks , monkey , peacock or parrot as pets. Living a daily life with these pets in the village is wonderful and full of happiness. People living in villages or farm houses with their pets generally have less stress and anxiety. People living in cities have no much provisions to accommodate pets along with them. This is due to fast city life, small house , confined place and little natural surrounding. Medical studies have shown that having Pets are stress buster.
750,000 pets were killed in UK before World war-2 , but why ?
Despite that Pet friendly peoples are keeping pets at their homes in the cities with majority having dogs and cats . There are 900 Million Dogs and 600 Millions Cats in this world , about 40% of them are kept as pets. Germany is most pet friendly country. Most of the Arab country are not Dog friendly but are cat friendly. Dog is a national Animal of Czech Republic and Netherland. Same time Chinese and Korean eat dogs and Vietnamese eat cat meat. Do you know Britishers culled ( put in to sleep ) 750,000 pets at the start of World War 2 just in case there is no shortage of food to feed them pets during the World war.
Keeping pets in residential tower is a task
I along with my daughter & wife being a pet lovers and we do have a Dog , Love birds , Aquarium Fish as pets . Despite living in a Multi-storey tower in Dubai with no natural surrounding , have managed to have all of them . In addition to that we have nests in the balcony where birds from streets stay and hatch their eggs. At any given time there 6-8 birds live with us in the apartment. It is so satisfying to have so many pets who stay along with us. One keep occupied in spare time by looking after these pets which gives lot of positive energy. However keeping and taking care of Pets in residential Flat is a task due to space constraints .

Labrador retriever is the most popular dog which is kept as pet. This breed of Dog love kids , Adult and other pets . They are loyal and very alert for any intruder to the house. Persian cat is the most popular cat which is kept as Pets. There is no limit on type of pets peoples keep . People living is ranches and agriculture fields do keep Donkey , Crocodile , Deer , pigs , owls , Python etc as pets. Famous actor Arnold Schwarzenegger has Pony and Donkey as a pet. Most of The President & Prime Minister in Europe , America , Canada and elsewhere do keep Dog as pet in their presidential palace, which travel with them in Royal chartered flights . Queen Elizabet have many Corgis dog as pet. Many sheikhs in middle east keep Lions and Tigers as pet .

Keep a pet – it will improve your life
I am of the opinion that having pets at home do kill your boredom , anxiety , stress , loneliness and keep you engaged in your daily spare time . This results in to having good health of the pet’s owner. Morning and evening walk with the Pet dogs do help to maintain healthy body and stamina. Love birds keep the home atmosphere musical throughout the day. And end of the day Dog is a security guard of your house 24X7.
