People leaving their home country to earn Dollars
Why one should not earn in Dollars if he has the capacity and potential to face the tough challenges by leaving his homeland for a better life. Everybody wanted to be a rich man and live a comfortable life. When opportunities in carrier’s growth and getting job in the home county is meagre, the only option left is to migrate to foreign country and try their luck. It is not so easy to migrate to another country and get settle there. There are tons of hurdles to get a foreign job, eg. arrange finance, apply for Visa, get a Visa , find a house and get permanent residency and ultimately a foreign Passport. But once successful the life of individual changes drastically during couple of years. And that is noticeable by everybody.
NRI have higher market status
Most of the parents feel very proud and happy by telling others that, ’Our Son /daughter is working in a foreign country and are well settled ’, or ‘Our daughter is married to a boy living abroad’. The mindset among us is such that , the social status of the families having their son/daughter settled in foreign countries get special treatment at native country. The Dollar earning by their son/daughter help the family to construct a new beautiful house in native country and live a comfortable. Constructing a new house in homeland is a pride for any NRI . By looking at it, most of the parents have a wish that one of their son or daughter should live in a foreign country. This rat race is increasing day by day and is unstoppable.
Tough family life in foreign land
Working in foreign land do also carry lot of challenges like loneliness , time zone , missing the parents , cultural difference , cut-off , zero help , isolation , racism at work , long shifts and also handling family’s financial burden. Despite all these , I #ESKmehta am of the firm opinion that working in ‘’Dollar-Land’’ do have more job satisfaction as it is directly linked to earning multiple times with higher potential of savings and living a better life , as against average life back home. But doing so one stay continuously disconnected from the grass route , which most of the time is very painful.
The grass is always greener on the other side.
Financial aspect is also plays big role when we compare dollar with rupees,one cannot deny this.
Certainly quality of life and better jobs opportunities and dignity of labor invites us to foreign countries.
When someone is not satisfied with their own lot in life and always assume that there are better things in other place.Some time it clicks,sometime not.Rest fate plays a big role in life.
Motherland is motherland.One gets peace of mind in his/her own country
I completely agree. Travelling abroad for a better future comes with a lot of costs and not just financially but also mentally and emotionally. It’s not as easy as people think it is. You have to work hard to make a foreign country your new home, to get not the same, but almost the same feeling as your motherland.
Motherland …motherland…..motherland…irrespective what she has given you or what you have given to her. She will always provide relief to your tired soul and mind…
Mother land is place wherr only we get peace .
